Mount Kisco Rotary and Lions Clubs Raise Funds for Historical Society at Septemberfest 2025
Mount Kisco, NY – September 15, 2025 – During Mount Kisco’s Septemberfest 2025 celebration, the Mount Kisco Rotary Club and the Mount Kisco Lions Club joined forces to host a community raffle to benefit the Mount Kisco Historical Society. The fundraiser successfully raised significant funds to help preserve local history, including efforts to bring back the iconic Mount Kisco Bridge 1828, the historic Earth and Mortar Stone Bridge.
Three lucky winners were drawn, with the grand prize of $10,000 awarded to the top winner. The presentation of the prize took place over the weekend, with Mount Kisco Rotary President Dan Taplitz and Mount Kisco Lions representative Anthony Cerretani making the official presentation. They were joined by Ed Reilly, President of the Mount Kisco Chamber of Commerce, and Ralph Vigliotti, President of the Mount Kisco Historical Society.
“This event reflects the incredible spirit of collaboration in our community,” said Taplitz. “We’re proud to support the Historical Society’s mission to preserve Mount Kisco’s rich heritage.”
